Talk about the quintessential power breakfast–yesterday the National Resources Defense Council spearheaded its mission to clean up the fashion industry via its “Clean by Design” campaign at a breakfast held in New York City. The campaign has the support of fashion world heavyweights including the Council of Fashion Designers of America (chaired by none other than Haute 100 lister Diane von Fustenberg) and Vogue.
In attendance at yesterday’s breakfast were Haute 100 listers Anna Wintour, Graydon Carter, Diane von Furstenberg, David Lauren and Lauren Bush Lauren. It was hosted by NRDC trustee Anna Carter and drew other power players including Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY), Tory Burch, Derek Lam, Nanette Lepore, Mickey Drexler, Behnaz Sarafpour and Zac Posen.
