VIP RSVP: The Haute 5 Super Bowl Parties You Must Attend
Even though Super Bowl Sunday is still days away, the exclusive events have already begun and trying to keep up with all of the invites can drive a girl to drink. Good thing the high-end alcohol and Champagne will be flowing freely in the Magic City this week. Patterning itself after Art Basel, it can be nearly impossible to hit up every party, so here is our list of five of the hautest soirees that you must enter into your electronic calendar.
Friday
What kind of luxury event would it be if there weren’t a luxury brand automobile involved? On Friday night, in a location known only to the VIP invitees, Rolls-Royce will host its fourth annual Big Game Celebration. Allied Athlete Group, and your favorite luxury lifestyle magazine, Haute Living, are partnering with the brand for the big bash, and we are eagerly anticipating the introduction of the new Rolls-Royce Ghost. If you weren’t haute enough to receive your own exclusive invite, we can’t reveal the exact location, other than to say it will be in one of our favorite South Beach neighborhoods.
After riding around in the Rolls for a bit, hit up the Paris Theatre on Washington Avenue for the seventh annual “Leather & Laces Super Bowl Party“ co-hosted by Kim Kardashian, Holly Madison, and Roselyn Sanchez. DJs from far and wide will be in charge of the beats while performers from Cirque USA will wow the crowds. VIP tickets, at $750 a pop, include an all-access pass, an unlimited supply of premium liquor, beer, and wine, as well as hors d’œuvres and sushi.
Saturday
On Saturday night, true sports aficionados, like those who love football enough to buy an entire NFL team, will be showing up to party at the Viceroy for the “NFL Team Owners Party.” As Dolphins owner Stephen Ross told Editorial Director Stephanie Wilson for the cover story of the latest edition of Haute Living Miami, some of this season’s celebrity minority owners will be providing the entertainment, including Gloria Estefan doing a rendition of “Are You Ready for Some Football?”
If you aren’t lucky enough to be the “plus one” of the owner of a football team, why not spend Saturday night with Jim Carey and Jenny McCarthy? This year’s “Saturday Night Spectacular” at the Bank of America Tower at International Plaza, will be one of the premier places for celebrity sightings, as the event ambassadors will be our own Eva and Michael Chow.
And if neither of those options tickle your fancy, director Michael Bay is hosting his second annual “Big Game Big Give” soiree at his Miami Beach estate. It’s only for the A-listers, so if good grades were never your thing, perhaps you should consider staying in for the night and resting up for the big game.
