Marmara Park Avenue Debuts New Rooftop Lounge: The Blue Rooftop

The Blue Rooftop, a new rooftop lounge located in the Marmara Park Avenue hotel has officially opened to the public. Located in Manhattan’s NoMad neighborhood, the 128-key hotel pairs impeccable style with unmitigated comfort. The Blue Rooftop pays homage to the hotel’s Mediterranean roots and will serve as a new hangout for locals and guests alike.
Set 20 stories above the city bustle, The Blue Rooftop features a two-tiered rooftop space that immerses guests in the city skyline and offers a unique vantage point of Manhattan’s most storied attractions. Steps away from The Empire State Building, the property is located a heartbeat away from the pulse of New York City.

The rooftop’s menu is a fusion of Mediterranean flavors and spices with a focus on seasonal vegetables and fruits. A selection of mezze include variations of different spreads and cruditè including homemade Hummus, a chickpea puree blended with tahini, olive oil, lemon juice and garlic; Muhammara with roasted red peppers, walnuts and cumin; and Labne garnished with mint, dill, olive oil and garlic.
In addition to a selection of mezze, the menu also includes light bites and small dishes with sweet and savory combos meant for sharing. Notable highlights include Watermelon Pizza fresh watermelon slices topped with seasonal berries, feta cheese and mint; Shrimp Ceviche paired with avocado, onions, jalapeno and cilantro tossed with cocktail sauce; Smoked Eggplant Salad mixed with roasted bell pepper, tomatoes, parsley, garlic and olive oil; and more.

The bar program features signature cocktails that present clean flavors through the use of seasonal fruit and herbs. The menu also features reinventions on classic cocktails, providing a twist on favorites such as the Fresh Fig Margarita made with tequila, orange liqueur, fig, honey and lime topped with fresh figs and a hint of lavender buds; Mediterranean Martini made with vodka, dry vermouth and served with a side of Turkish olives; and the Penthouse Frosè with Arizona rosè, vodka, fresh strawberry syrup and topped with Turkish Delight, a popular candy found in Turkey.

The Blue Rooftop is located on the 20th floor of Marmara Park Avenue at 114 E 32nd Street and is open Monday through Sunday from 5PM to midnight.
