Eight-time Grammy award-winning musician and reggae icon Ziggy Marley is often on the road—especially now that he’s on the road for a number of West Coast dates in June in support of his latest album—his seventh full-length solo studio effort—Rebellion Rises, which is why having the best tech on the market is so particularly important. Here, Haute Living‘s newest ambassador shares his top five favorite tech toys of the moment… including some favorites from his family’s own House of Marley line.

HOUSE OF MARLEY BUFFALO SOLDIER ON-EAR BLUETOOTH WIRELESS HEADPHONES 

I’m biased, because my family makes speakers and headsets: that’s all I use. I don’t need to shop for them, because I like what we have. For headsets, it’s got to be House of Marley. The one I like the most is the Buffalo Soldier. Listening to music is something I do when I’m flying or when I’m home. I like the full spectrum of frequency of sound. This headphone is wireless. I’m not an audio snob, but I do have things that I like. I like to hear music crisp and clean. The Marley products are environmentally conscious – they use recycled materials and are biodegradable, and to me, that’s important because I want to know that anything that I’m using as much as I can is not creating a negative effect on our environment. I’m very conscious of these things.

HOUSE OF MARLEY BAG OF RIDDIM SPEAKERS 

Speaker-wise, it’s the same thing. My family’s things are good. Speakers have to be wireless, because I’m moving around the house. If I’m chilling outside, if I’m in the kitchen, wherever I am, wireless speakers are the way to go. The one I use is the Bag of Riddim. It’s sporty, but big enough for me, it’s made of recycled materials, it has good energy and it’s environmentally friendly.
