Words With Friends 2 Launches With Artificial Intelligence

When you’re in the App Store’s Top 10 free games of all time, you’re kinda pressured to keep up to stay on that list.
Well, you should. Word games keep your brain youthful and healthy. I tell you this because I play myself and me leaving the milk carton in the pantry has decreased significantly—go me.
It’s Norah Restaurant in West Hollywood and the guest attending are celebrating eight years and 250 million downloads later of Words With Friends, the world’s most popular mobile game.
The company spends a lot of time with their players to better understand the experience. In comes the “Bring Your Bestie” launch party where Zynga allowed guests to play with the new Words With Friends 2 game during the event.

In attendance are Victoria’s Secret Model Alessandra Ambrosio, Hilary and Haylie Duff, and Erin and Sara Foster, the new heads of creative for Bumble Bizz and Bumble BFF.
The classic features are still very much the same as in placing words on a virtual board with push notifications alerting when your opponent makes a move, but there are a lot of cool new features.

It includes a lightning round where teams try to spell words quickly in real-time; solo mode where you can play against AI-controlled bots; power-ups and Social Dictionary to provide hints on the best word to play; and subtly a change in color only on the brighter side of the spectrum to navigate the menus easier.
