AN UNFORGETTABLE EVENING IN LOS ANGELES
On Thursday, February 16, 2017, the Women’s Cancer Research Fund (WCRF) Honorary Chairs Rita Wilson and Tom Hanks, along with WCRF co-founders Quinn Ezralow, Marion Laurie, Kelly Chapman Meyer, and Jaime Tisch welcomed guests to An Unforgettable Evening presented by Saks Fifth Avenue. After a three-year hiatus, the event returned to the Beverly Wilshire Hotel, with proceeds benefiting the Women’s Cancer Research Fund, a program of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF). Hosted by comedian and breast cancer survivor Tig Notaro, the evening included cocktails, a dinner, and an awards presentation. Renowned fashion designer and film director Tom Ford received the 2017 Courage Award for his continued support and dedication to raising awareness for the disease from Honorary Chairs Rita Wilson and Tom Hanks. Elizabeth Hurley and Danielle Lauderpresented the Nat King Cole Award to Judy and Leonard Lauder for their charitable works and contributions. Coldplay’s Chris Martin took the stage for a surprise performance, opening with a soulful rendition of Wham!’s “Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go,” and included his take on Leonard Cohen’s “Suzanne,” Prince’s “Raspberry Beret,” and the David Bowie classic “Life on Mars.” The evening closed with a special musical performance by multi-platinum selling pop star Jason Derulo, who sang a four-song set including hits “Trumpets,” “Wiggle,” “Talk Dirty,” and “Want To Want Me.” The event raised over $1.8 million for the cause. Environmental activist and actor Suzy Amis has booked starlets Emma Roberts and Priyanka Bose to support her eco-friendly campaign Red Carpet Green Dress (RCGD) this year.The actresses will wear exclusive pieces from Atelier Swarovski’s first fine jewelry collection, which will launch at the 89thAcademy Awards ®, and will also be dressed in ethical gowns. Launched by Amis, who also happens to be the wife of environmentalist and Oscar-winning director James Cameron, Red Carpet Green Dress works with internationally acclaimed designers each year to dress stars in ethical eveningwear and jewelry for the Academy Awards®.

YOU CAN TAKE THE LA LA LAND TOUR AT WARNER BROS. STUDIOS
In celebration of this year’s award season, Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood will spotlight Lionsgate’s Oscar nominated film, La La Land, as a limited addition to the tour. From Feb. 18 to March 6, 2017, guests can find themselves in a scene from the film as they step onto the ‘Café Sur Le Lot,’ coffee shop set, which has been carefully reconstructed. Tour guests will explore the iconic 110-acre studio as well as the innovative Stage 48: Script to Screen. The interactive soundstage offers guests the unique opportunity to explore the full film and television production process and the glory of awards season. Guests explore the Archive, which currently showcases the tour’s latest addition, From J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World: The Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts Exhibit offering an up-close look at how J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World has been brought to life over the past 15 years. The Archive also includes DC Universe: The Exhibit which pays homage to the origins of DC Comics, including original comic books featuring all seven Super Heroes of the Justice League. Additionally, guests can explore authentic props and costumes from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad. Guests also stop by the Prop Department, which features one of the largest selections of rare antiquities and modern furniture, rugs, drapery, lighting and hand props from Hollywood’s golden era, followed by the Picture Car Vault, home to some of Batman’s most famous vehicles.
