Haute 100 Update: LACOSTE at Miami Open featuring Karolina Kurkova and Surprise Performance
Karolina Kurkova was LACOSTE’s special guest at the Miami Open. The blonde beauty enjoyed watching two days of tennis, including the Men’s Finals and Women’s Finals, right from the LACOSTE suite wearing LACOSTE outfits, of course. Husband Archie Drury and CEO of LACOSTE North America, Francis Pierrel joined the Czech model in the exclusive suite.
LACOSTE celebrated their inaugural sponsorship, presented by Itau, at the Miami Open with an entertaining surprise. Right before LACOSTE pro player John Isner went on to beat Kei Nishikori at Crandon Park tennis stadium on Key Biscayne, FL, guests were presented with an incredible performance choreographed by Amanda Tae Alveraz.
It was a dance inspired by the LACOSTE Spring/Summer 2015 campaign, which featured ingenious choreography embodying LACOSTE’s brand message “Life is a Beautiful Sport,” and Rene Lacoste’s motto, “Elegance is Victory.” The energizing performance was a fusion of gymansts, contemporary dancers, and Capoeira dancers. Dancers grooved to a remix by Flume of Lorde’s track “Tennis Court.” There was also a remixed version of the Disclosure song on the LACOSTE Life is a Beautiful Sport campaign.
All dancers were decked out in official LACOSTE Ball Kid and Linesmen outfits. This included the iconic LACOSTE polo shirt silhouette, which Rene Lacoste invented in order to play with maximum freedom of movement on the court. During the performance, Beryl Lacoste Hamilton, Rene Lacoste’s granddaughter, cheered from the LACOSTE VIP suite and so did Karolina Kurkova, we’re sure of it.
