Michelle Monaghan’s Weekly Glow-Up Secret For The White Lotus

When Michelle Monaghan signed on to play Jaclyn, a TV star on a lavish girls’ trip in The White Lotus Season 3, she knew she had to look the part, flawlessly sun-kissed and effortlessly glamorous. But achieving that "just vacationed in Thailand" glow wasn’t as simple as lounging by the pool.

Instead of soaking up the tropical sun like the rest of the cast, Monaghan had a standing Sunday date—with her self-tanner. While her co-stars cooled off in the ocean, she was busy perfecting Jaclyn’s bronzed look, waiting hours for her tan to dry in Thailand’s humidity. Dedication? Absolutely. Worth it? One hundred percent.

And it wasn’t just her skin that required VIP treatment. Going blonde for the role meant serious upkeep, so celebrity colorist Tracey Cunningham made multiple trips to Thailand to keep Monaghan’s locks looking pristine. The actress, naturally a brunette, admitted she fell in love with the blonde bombshell transformation but knew she’d have to return to her roots (literally) for her next film.

With an all-star cast—including Aimee Lou Wood, Patrick Schwarzenegger, and the return of Natasha Rothwell—The White Lotus Season 3 is set to bring plenty of drama, luxury, and, thanks to Monaghan’s beauty routine, a whole lot of glow.
