Beauty and celebrity devotees have a new date to look forward to – February 28.
That is the official start of Kim Kardashian West’s new realty show, Glam Masters, which will air on Lifetime. Kardashian West serves as executive producer, alongside TV personality Diana Madison. Orange Is the New Black star Laverne Cox will host Glam Masters and will also judge contestants together with makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic, Youtube influencer Kandee Johnston and fashion editor Zanna Roberts.
“Glam Masters is a beauty competition series we really had a blast shooting,” Cox said on Instagram.
Venturing away from E!, which has broadcast Keeping Up With the Kardashians for years, Kardashian West release the trailer of the show as an Instagram story. It depicts models powdered in glitter, splashed with bright mush and adorned with rhinestones.
While few details have been revealed about Glam Masters, it appears it is to follow a format similar to that of hit series Project Runway.
“I went into this project feeling unsure, a bit scared and not knowing what to expect and the whole experience became one of the highlights of my career,” Dedivanovic said in a trailer caption on Instagram. “So emotional, so raw and so real. I can’t wait for you all to watch this! The grand prize is literally life changing.”
