Anatomy at 1220, was founded by nightclub impresario, Chris Paciello and former NFL player, Marc Megna in 2014. Paciello made a name for himself in the 90s when he opened two nightclubs, Risk and Liquid. He is the founder of VitaSquad and currently oversees Anatomy at 1220. Megna was a former Jets and Patriots player.
Since its inception, Anatomy at 1220 has become the one-stop shop for everything health and wellness related. The boutique fitness club in Sunset Harbour is known for many things like their personal training system and also for their occasional rooftop yoga events. The rooftop terrace at Anatomy is a tranquil and peaceful space perfect for yogis to get their downward dog on. And so, Anatomy 1220 is pleased to announce Yoga Under the Stars, a special yogic event.
Who:
Sharon Aluma, founder and creator of yoga brand, Organic Vinyasa. Based in Miami Beach, FL, Aluma is a successful graphics and web designer, turned yoga instructor. Aluma first stepped onto her mat around 15 years ago and was hooked ever since. Her teaching is of life. Yogis can expect to walk away feeling whole. This includes an understanding of yoga anatomy, physiology, pranayama, meditation and spirit within each class.
What:
Yoga Under the Stars, a special yogic evening will take place on Anatomy’s roof-deck, beginning with a beautiful starlit yoga practice followed by light bites and complimentary use of Anatomy’s healing recovery features including the cold & hot plunge, sauna and steam room. Known for her clear and approachable method of teaching, Sharon brings 15 years of yoga experience combined with a childhood full of philosophy and a of formal education in Fine Arts to create a transformative yoga experience. Whether you are yoga-curios or a seasoned practitioner you will leave feeling as clear as the stars in the sky.
