A Vision Realized

One of the professional career highlights for Dr. Jason Bloom was the opening of the Surgical Arts Center, the very first fully accredited ambulatory surgery center (ASC) in the greater Philadelphia area dedicated specifically to aesthetic surgery patients.

His mission was to create a seamless, high-end surgical experience for aesthetic patients every step of the way, from preoperative screening, to the operation, and ultimately through recovery. Seeing it come to fruition has been incredibly rewarding, and he is now inviting other surgeons who perform elective procedures to operate there as well.

What Sets Us Apart

The Surgical Arts Center is different from other ambulatory surgery centers in the State of Pennsylvania, and it is a unique ASC for multiple reasons.

First, it is the only local surgery center specifically created for patients seeking elective aesthetic surgery. No insurance cases are performed there, which enables the center to focus solely on providing the best care for aesthetic patients who wish to be discreet and not have procedures performed in a larger hospital setting by rotating personnel.

Second, the staff comprises registered nurses, physician assistants, and scrub technicians who are exclusively dedicated to and knowledgeable about all aesthetic procedures performed there. They were hand-picked for their specific plastic surgery experience and personally selected with the mission to provide safe, high-quality, specialized care with excellent customer service. This depth of aesthetic expertise facilitates consistency between cases and familiarity with the nuances of each procedure.

Third, the center partners with a private, hand-picked anesthesia group comprised exclusively of board-certified anesthesiologists, who provide state-of-the-art care in the operating room and post-op unit. Any level of anesthesia and sedation that a surgeon requires is available.

An Invitation to Colleagues

The Surgical Arts Center was established by aesthetic plastic surgeons, for aesthetic plastic surgeons. We hope that our local plastic surgery colleagues in the greater Philadelphia area will utilize this high-end, seamless, high-quality, and private surgical space for their patients seeking the very best elective surgical experience.
