Haute Beauty: What is your greatest achievement?
Gregory M. Fedele, MD: Besides raising two amazing and successful kids, my greatest achievement is opening up my own private practice plastic surgery office 20 years ago!
HB: What is the future of your field?
GF: Plastic Surgery continues to be an extremely innovative field including new minimally invasive surgical techniques as well as emerging advanced technologies to improve aesthetic outcomes for patients.
HB: What is the biggest misconception about your field?
GF: Plastic Surgery is primarily about vanity or purely cosmetic enhancements. In reality, plastic surgery encompasses reconstructive procedures that help individuals regain functionality and improve their quality of life after accidents, injuries, or cancer.
HB: What are your most requested procedures?
GF: The type of procedure requested depends on the age of the individual seeking surgery. The most common procedures are Breast Augmentation, Liposuction, body contouring, and eyelid rejuvenation.
HB: What surgical advancements are you most excited about?
GF: Advances that are most exciting include more minimally invasive procedures for faster recovery and advancing technologies for skin tightening.

HB: What are you best known for?
GF: Though I perform the entire range of cosmetic procedures, I have expertise in Breast enhancement procedures.
HB: What is your most memorable patient reaction?
GF: A patient had a long weight loss journey and through diet and exercise lost more than 250 pounds. She then came to me for body contouring procedures including a tummy tuck and lower body lift. After her successful procedure and recovery, she told me that every time she looked in a mirror she would say "Thank you, Dr. Fedele!" It always amazes me the effect I can have on a person's self-esteem and self-confidence!
HB: What sets your practice apart?
GF: I feel that as an artist I have a unique perspective and can better visualize how a procedure will enhance a person’s appearance. The human body is already a beautiful work of art and plastic surgery only enhances that beauty. I have the skills of a trained surgeon, but see things with the eyes of an artist.
That is why I feel that Plastic Surgery is an art, and who better to perform Plastic Surgery than an artist? I also feel that as a team our office truly cares for our patients and is there for them throughout their entire journey.
HB: What do you love most about your profession?
GF: The field of plastic surgery is always changing and advancing.
HB: What is your career-defining procedure?
GF: The mommy make-over, because it can dramatically enhance a woman's contour in one procedure that provides a life-changing improvement in their appearance.
