Haute Beauty sat down with Dr. Andrade to ask him all the questions - from his greatest achievements to the biggest misconceptions in his field; here’s what he shared.
Greatest achievement:
Becoming a board member of my nonprofit organization, Healing Hands Abroad, and all the volunteer surgical mission work that we have done in developing countries over the past 10 years is my greatest achievement. It means a lot to me to be able to use my experience and training in this way.
The future of your field?
As a plastic surgeon, I believe my field is at the forefront of progress in surgery. I think tissue engineering will be the future of plastic and reconstructive surgery. New organs may be grown in a lab and then transferred to the patient. Organ donors and specific blood type matches will become obsolete. There has been significant progress in this field and the technology will only improve.
Biggest misconception about your field:
I think the biggest misconception is that you will look unnatural after Botox and/or filler. In my opinion, the best injectable result is the one that people say you look amazing, but they can't tell if something was actually done. It’s a slippery slope when it comes to injectables. Sometimes less is more. A natural result is always preferred over an “overdone” look.

Most requested procedure at Beautique Concierge:
Botox and Fillers would be the most requested, however, testosterone replacement and Semaglutide (Ozmepic) for weight loss have been gaining traction recently.
Surgical advancements you're excited about?
I really like the new device technologies involved in skin rejuvenation/tightening. Beautique is constantly searching the market for portable technologies that we can bring into our patients’ homes to provide concierge services. I’m also excited to start offering Daxxify - the new, longer-acting wrinkle reducer on the market.
What are you best known for?
I would say breast reconstruction, in particular utilizing your own body i.e. free flaps - taking tummy tucks and using that tissue to reconstruct your breasts. However, I’m quickly becoming known as the concierge plastic surgeon offering in-home botox, filler, and IVs.
Most memorable patient reaction:
I raised money to cover the COVID-19 bills for a particular patient and his family who would otherwise not have been able to pay. There were a lot of tears and emotions in the exam room that day. It was a really special moment.

What do you love most about your profession?
The variety of procedures that I do and the ability to work on any part of the human body from head to toe. One day I can be doing a massive reconstructive case followed by a patient requesting Botox and filler.
Career-defining procedure:
Breast cancer reconstruction utilizing free flaps from the patient's own body. Not many plastic surgeons offer this due to the complexity of the surgery.
