Fashion week always brings together the best of the best in the Fashion and modeling industries. Last week, Milan fashion week took place highlighting some of the industry’s most prominent designers including Prada, Versace, and many more. Versace’s Fall/Winter collection showcases many of the trends we’ve been seeing lately like miniskirts and corsets. The experienced models showcased the designer’s collection with a surprisingly wide range which offered around 60 looks with a variety of colors and styles.
Emily Ratajkowski, Bella Hadid, and Gigi Hadid were some of the prominent models who graced the stage for this year’s show. Ratajkowski was styled in a draping dress made of green crystal revealing latex pants and a corset top underneath. Meanwhile, the Hadid sisters strutted the runway in seemingly coordinated looks, both featuring bright red dresses styled over rich red latex pants with some corset detailing.

Bella’s silhouette, complete with shoulder pads and an overall boxy look, felt more reminiscent of 80s fashion. Some of the constants throughout the looks were latex and platform shoes. The platform shoes featured in the show are similar to the Versace platforms that people on the internet have been losing their minds over, with the exception of the pointed toe shape.
Many of the models were styled in dark makeup to complement their bold looks. The bold smoked-out black eye makeup closely resembles the look often worn by Donatella Versace, also recently worn by Julia Fox. Some of the models styled with the bold eye also had their brows bleached for the show. The rest of their look created the illusion of a blank canvas with nude looks and sleek hair parted down the middle.
Bleached brows aren’t a look that we see outside of the runway setting very often, but Bella and Gigi Hadid certainly pulled it off. Granted, with those genes, they can pull off almost any look. The invisible brows paired well with the clothes, seemingly drawing more attention to the clothes. Will bleached brows be a beauty trend to watch out for this season? I guess we will have to wait and see.
