After Rihanna’s recent post announcing she is expecting a baby with A$AP Rocky, she nearly broke the internet. As if that wasn’t enough news from RiRi this week, her beauty brand, Fenty Beauty, released a line of classic bullet lipsticks on February 4th.
The “Fenty Icon The Fill Semi-Matte Refillable Lipstick” comes in ten high-pigment shades varying from nude to deep red with a wide range of customers in mind. Rihanna tells Allure, “I wanted to create the perfect shade of red that works with every skin tone, and I love it”.

Due to the formula, which includes hyaluronic acid and vitamin C & E, this product won’t dry out your lips causing cracks like other mattifying formulas. Instead, the lipstick is said to be incredibly hydrating. Aside from the long-wearing lipstick’s creamy formula, the packaging for the product is genius and allows customers to be more earth-conscious by refilling their lipstick cases when done. Cases are a one-time purchase that can be used to pop new shades in and out as often as you’d like; the Icon lipsticks are also vegan and cruelty-free.
