Wood therapy is one of the most popular treatments at Mint Wellness Center for toning, fat loss, and reducing the appearance of cellulite. But where does this technique come from? This non-invasive procedure has its origins in Asia but over time this technique has been improved and implemented for cosmetic purposes, mainly in Latin America where it is known as Maderoterapia in Spanish.
Wood therapy consists of applying pressure to the body through a massage that uses wooden instruments of different shapes and sizes that adjust to all areas of the body. Wood therapy at a general level activates cell renewal, stimulates and improves blood circulation and the lymphatic system, and combats fat deposits. This technique is amazing for the legs, arms, abdomen, buttocks, back, and hips. However, in addition to helping you tone up and eliminate fat and cellulite, this type of massage also has the benefit of eliminating accumulated stress.

Among the main benefits of wood therapy the most interesting are:
- Activates circulation
- Helps eliminate retained fluids
- Contours the body
- Promotes the dissolution of localized fat
It is very useful as a supplement for weight loss, whether it is fat or retained liquids. This treatment lasts 30 to 40 minutes and the results can be seen from the fourth session. Wood therapy sessions do not have downtime as it is a non-invasive procedure.
