The now 23-year-old actress has undertaken differing roles in film and television appearing in “Boy Erased,” “Vice Principals,” and “Stranger Things.” In the spring of 2020, Cline secured a newfound level of fame with the release of “Outer Banks.” The sensationally popular Netflix drama follows a group of teenage friends as they uncover their town’s mystery and search for hidden treasure.
With the recent release of “Outer Banks” season two, fans are already anticipating the renewal of a third season. The mystery-inducing show has firmly held its place on Netflix’s Top 10 list boosting its cast into the limelight. While Cline is one of the breakout stars from the series and has since gone on to secure a role in the “Knives Out” sequel among Hollywood A-listers, she retains a sense of humility with her beauty rituals. The up-and-coming actress revealed to Harper’s BAZAAR the secrets of her nighttime routine for clean, healthy, and beautiful skin.

Cline’s evening ritual consists of eight “ride or dies” products for a simple yet effective approach to skincare. Beginning by removing her makeup, she uses Johnson's Baby Oil With Shea & Cocoa Butter for “a really easy, cheap way to get rid of makeup.” As Cline rubs the product into her skin, she recounts her past struggles with cystic acne and explains tips from her dermatologist for deep cleaning pores. Cline uses Neutrogena Rapid Clear Stubborn Daily Acne Facial Cleanser with 10% benzoyl peroxide in conjunction with a facial cream during the day.
Her “holy grail products” which she claims to save up for and splurge on are SkinCeuticals. Cline mixes the SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic and SkinCeuticals Triple Lipid Restore 2:4:2, then applies it around her face. On top of the mixture, she sprays Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe, Cucumber, and Green Tea for its refreshing smell and antioxidant properties.
For final touches, Cline applies DHC Eyelash Tonic to her lashes and eyebrows. Additionally, the product serves as a mascara primer in her makeup routine. To maintain moisturized lips, she applies Vermont's Original Bag Balm Skin Salve. She explains the unorthodox origin of the product used by farmers on cow udders but reiterates its reliability as an affordable and effective approach to lip care. Concluding her simple skincare routine, she spritzes Les Eaux de CHANEL - Eau de Toilette Spray for a fresh and soothing finish before bed.

As Cline showcases her favorite beauty products, she emphasizes how quintessential skincare is to her physical and mental health. She explains, "For me in particular, at night, [skincare] is super important because it's my ritual. It's my time where I don't have to talk to anyone, I don't have to be on my phone. All it is is just me being by myself with myself. It's almost kind of like a meditation and it really, really helps me wind down."
