Makeup artist Celia Burton explained how to achieve a classic liner look: “Use a liquid liner to mark out with a dot or dash where you want the ‘flick’ to finish,” Burton told British Vogue. “Then, tip your head back and drag the liner across the eye from the inner corner, staying as close to the lash line as possible.” Once that’s done, you can either build on top with more liner or blend it out until it suits your eyes.
