What is your greatest achievement?

Raising my happy, healthy, kind, loving, and beautiful daughter!

What is the future of your field?

I believe there will be a lot more destination surgeries as virtual consultations and follow-ups will be more common.

What is the biggest misconception about your field?

The biggest misconception has to be we only do cosmetic surgeries. Plastic surgeons are also trained to treat hand diseases, fractures, and facial fractures. While not all plastic surgeons do these, I enjoy performing a variety of surgeries.

What are your most requested procedures?

Breast Augmentation is pretty popular here in Maui. Back when I was in Napa, I was doing quite a number of facelifts.

What surgical advancements are you most excited about?

I do love seeing the latest technologies in body contouring. However, to date, none can take the place of traditional liposuction.

What are you best known for?

My beautiful, natural results.

What is your most memorable patient reaction?

Oh, there are so many! I have a transgender patient who feels absolutely beautiful now. I love it when my breast reduction patients come in almost floating on air because they feel so light and free.

What sets your practice apart?

Currently, I am working in the Maui Memorial Outpatient Clinic. This allows me to collaborate directly with the other medical specialists to ensure excellent pre-operative and post-operative care for patients who may have other medical issues. This has also allowed me to focus on surgeries and injectables only.

What do you love most about your profession?

I very much love helping people feel their best.
