Purslane helps the skin barrier function, keeping it as healthy as possible. The Facial Scrub—step two—removes dry skin, while the hydrating Face Mask in step three gives the skin an extra surge of moisture and hydration, with aloe vera and chamomile. Kaolin—or 'China Clay'—also leaves the skin soft and supple. Dr. Sturm's celebrated Hyaluronic Serum is the fourth step in the system, with its long-chain hyaluronic molecules giving the exterior skin layers a boost of moisture, and short-chain hyaluronic molecules penetrating the deeper skin layers, for visible and long-lasting hydration. The fifth step—Calming Serum—rebalances irritated skin while the last step, Face Cream Rich, is a deep, hydrating 24-hour moisturizer.
