Do you still have tired, dull skin even after you've seemingly tried everything? Dr. Rachel Reyes-Bergano, D.O. of Pasadena, California wants to introduce a new way to refresh your skin with AQUAGOLD® . Dr. Reyes-Bergano focuses on making her modern beauties, her signature term for her patients, feel and look their best, and they appreciate the subtle, conservative approach and improved results. She explained to Haute Beauty all about this new filler technology, who will benefit from it and how to achieve desired results.
Haute Beauty: What is the process?
Dr. Rachel Reyes-Bergano: AQUAGOLD® is a micro-channel device used to deliver a solution just beneath the surface of the skin to bring about a radiant glow and lasting hydration. Perks of choosing AQUAGOLD® include pain-free delivery, direct dermal application and that it is an easy, quick, and simple procedure.
HB: What are the benefits to AQUAGOLD® over other facial rejuvenation techniques?
RRB: AquaGold is unique in that there’s very little downtime before you can begin to appreciate the benefits of the treatment and see the results.
HB: Who is a good candidate?
RRB: I prefer to recommend AQUAGOLD® for patients who otherwise have good skin texture and little to no hyperpigmentation, as they’ll most appreciate what the treatment does, namely reducing pore size, tightening, and giving your skin a refreshed appearance. AQUAGOLD® can be used peri-oral (around the mouth), peri-orbital (around the eyes), as well as on the forehead, neck, back of hands and decollete.
HB: How many sessions does it take to get desired results?
RRB: I recommend AQUAGOLD® once every three to four months, keeping on par with their usual neurotoxin maintenance.
HB: Are there any possible side effects?
RRB: Patients are generally red for a few hours post-AQUAGOLD®, however, they’re able to return to work and normal activities relatively quickly. We advise refraining from certain activities post-treatment such as exposure to saunas, tanning beds, and hot yoga for 24-48 hours to ensure your results are not compromised.
