It seems that high-end brokerage firms are embracing new technology. For example, the firm Prudential Douglas Elliman recently decided to renovate their aging website through the addition of VOW capabilities, or Virtual Website Office. According to Stephen Kotler, an executive vice president, Prudential Douglas Elliman have invested approximately $1 million and more than a year of developing a new website that will offer viewers information on all of the company’s properties.

Louis Vuitton has teamed up with Japanese artist Takashi Murakami for another round of a vibrant and playful collection for women. The newest project called Cosmic Blossom will present Murakami’s floral patterns that Louis Vuitton officially described as “fun, frivolous, and cute,” and then followed that up with a description of the palette as, “gorgeously, girly shades.” A bit of a departure for a brand that many consider as the pinnacle of serious fashion. It’s always refreshing to see people behaving properly. Unfortunately, it shouldn’t have to be a surprise, and yet these days, no matter where I go, I am pleasantly stunned when I catch glimpses of good etiquette. Today, I was having lunch at my favorite restaurant, La Grenouille, and I took note of various types of conduct. I was pleased to see that most people blended well with the beautiful atmosphere, however, there were a few exceptions. For those of you who could use some enlightenment on restaurant etiquette, here are a few notes.
