O& CO., oh my! I recently stumbled upon this gourmet specialties store in Back Bay and what a happy accident it was. Staring at the chandelier of mini olive oil bottles hanging in the window, I fell in love before even walking through the door. For ten years Oliver’s & Company (which goes by the name “O&CO.”) has been offering customers a special service: they import the finest olive oils from private, family-owned farms in Italy, France, Spain, and Portugal then deliver them to their upscale Mediterranean shops, which number 14 around the world including Boston’s branch.

Haute Fashion: A Look inside the New Lanvin Boutique on Rodeo Drive
The retail locale consists of Art Deco architectural design with an essence of 1930s and 1940s décor glamour paired down by playful trinkets (i.e. playing card sets, sprinkles of animal print accents, and delicate porcelain dolls). Design hotspots include a colorful shoe wall, chic glass display fixtures, small clusters of lounge furnishings, and last but not least, a secluded Made-To-Measure nook located at the end of a mirrored corridor. Various Lanvin collections can found, such as women’s, men’s, swim, accessories, and even the bridal collection, Blanche.

Haute Time: Perrelet’s Turbine XS, For the Lovely Ladies Out There
I would typically shudder at the mere thought of posting a watch with all this “ice”, but Perrelet has earned a genuine pass. I say this without the slightest air of gratuity, but if I was going to give a timepiece to a lady, this would be it. Enough with the ever-typical Rolex or TAG Heuer (not that I don’t appreciate those brands)… It’s just that they’re too common and when thinking of a timepiece for my lady (the last one), this Perrelet Turbine would have been ideal. I’ve seen the Turbine in real-time and it is an awesome timepiece. To imagine this Turbine, even though I hate diamonds, with its spinning motion, would be incredible.
