Before heading into the dining room, the former UNLV star autographed a basketball on the red carpet. His mother, family and 20 friends joined him in the restaurant as they dined on signature dishes sent from the chef. Marion stood at the head of the table to say a few words and toast to his victory.

The group, including Lachey’s former 98 Degrees bandmates brother Drew Lachey and Justin Jeffre, along with actor Geoff Stults and Houston Texans quarterback Matt Leinart, dined at Tao, picking out signature dishes from the Asian hot spot.
