Dubai Music Week, a venture between partners, Global Gumbo Group (G3) and DXB Live, in collaboration with Dubai World Trade Center, has opened in Dubai with a week of seminars, concerts and panel discussions. Performances include those by Selena Gomez, a Bollywood night featuring Farhan Akhtar joined by Pritam and Band, Mohit Chauhan, Benny Dayal, Arijit Singh, Harshdeep Kaur, and Neeti Mohan, among others.

Mall of the Emirates, one of Dubai’s leading fashion destinations, is in preparation for its third season of World of Fashion taking place from 3-14 October. Actress and singer Selena Gomez wore a look from the Spring 2014 Runway Show: a black bondage-style dress composed of thick elastic straps wrapped into a fitted corset with cutouts, complete with a full raffia skirt with organza layering beneath. Former Miss Yugoslavia and international model, Jelena Jakovljevic Bin Drai’s latest collection was made up of an elite selection of A-line and fish-tail contours, cascades of chiffon, organza and tulle with each look uniquely crafted using vintage embroidery or the signature rose.

On 15 September during London Fashion Week, Mark Cross’ Grace Box debuted at the Emilia Wickstead Spring 2014 Fashion Show at the Halcyon Gallery on New Bond Street in Mayfair. Models were seen strutting their ready-to-wear designs while carrying the iconic Grace Box in a spectrum of bold colors including red, turquoise, green, blue, yellow, orange, as well as white, nude and black.

Olivia Palermo was recently spotted wearing bangles from Tiffany’s new Atlas Collection. Introduced in 1995, the collection is titled after the mythic Greek god of the same name who is always pictured holding an enormous globe—an apt symbol for a collection that will be influential around the world.

Ticket delivery to the 2013 Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix has officially begun. Promising to be the biggest and best Abu Dhabi Grand Prix to date, this year’s ticket packages feature a unique pop-up design incorporating a sampling of activities on Yas Island during the F1 weekend including Yas Viceroy, Yas Marina, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi and the new Yas Waterworld.
