Haute Event: Art Los Angeles Contemporary
Art Los Angeles Contemporary, now in its second year, is Los Angeles’ international contemporary art fair which will be held this weekend, Jan. 27–30. The art fair is located at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica. The fair presents 70 top international blue chip and emerging galleries from around the world, with a strong focus on Los Angeles galleries. The galleries showcase some of the most dynamic recent works.
Haute Event: The World Premiere of Russian Ballet “Reflections”
Reflections is the world premiere of a co-production of the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia and the Segerstrom Center for the Arts in association with
Ardani Artists Management. The show stars some of the most important dancers of Bolshoi Theater: Ekaterina Krysanova, Natalia Osipova, Ekaterina Shipulina, Polina Seminova (Berlin Staatsballet), Maria Kochetkova (San Francisco Ballet) with Ivan Vasiliev, Alexander Volchkov, Vyacheslav Lopatin, and Denis Savin (Bolshoi Ballet), accompanied by the Orchestra of the Bolshoi Theatre.

Shamballa Jewels started in 1994 when Mads Kornerup opened a single store on Rue de Sevigne in Paris with a collection of ancient Indian and modern Scandinavian-inspired designs. In the recent years Shamballa Jewels has become known for its macramé braided bracelets that feature 18k gold balls with precious stones. Supermodel Helena Christensen was the first public figure to wear a full pavé bracelet out when she donned it at the Oscars; Tthis was the match that indeed ignited the brand’s success.
