This weekend I was lucky enough to make my way to The Spa at Equinox for a Chocolate Facial and Massage. Not only was this a treat for my face, body and mind, but you’re also presented with a taste of Payard chocolates–just in time for Valentine’s Day!

As I’ve said in the past, I.adore.decorating. It’s that simple. Speaking of simple, Serena & Lily has made the aesthetic of decorating your apartment just that. I’m always checking out interior websites, and this one in particular caught my eye. My Tribeca pad is neutral (grays and taupes) with pops of color (orange, think Hermes to be exact).

Besides a crisp glass of Sancerre or an earthy glass of Cabernet, I’d have to say tequila is my drink of choice. Specifically, Don Julio. Depending on what type of mood I’m in, I’ll either drink it on the rocks with fresh lime juice and salt around the rim, or with club soda and a splash of pineapple (transport me to some place warm!).

On Tuesday I had the opportunity to experience Tata Harper’s infamous “Glow.” I stepped into Ric Pipino’s salon on Centre Street (which yes, took me walking in circles for ten minutes to find!) to be warmly welcomed by not only Ric himself, but Tata

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, Les Halles Jeans are my absolute favorites. The cord leggings and the skinny jeans are must haves. Best known for their denim, Les Halles has expanded to include shirts, skirts and jumpsuits. I’m especially coveting this plaid dolmain-sleeved button-down.

Outside it might be in the single digits, but inside the Miu Miu Soho boutique you can feel the heat. I’m fortunate to have my office location be in the heart of Soho. While most think it’s quite dangerous on the wallet, I look at the ideal location as being a main source of my inspiration.

There’s nothing like a delicious scented candle to add ambiance and warmth to your apartment. Decorating my downtown digs has been on the forefront of my passion list. I’ve become familiarized with every ottman company, rug designer and hidden haunts where to discover the best found objects for my bookcase.

I am a recent Blackberry convert (from iPhone) and let me just say, I couldn’t be happier. That being said, there’s one thing that I won’t give up–ever. Not only does my Smythson Soho Diary keep my daily appointments, calls, meetings, dinners (and the list goes on) organized, but it’s also a chic accessory.

The Globes are around the corner. No, I don’t sit in my apartment all gussied up drinking champagne, but I do have my own Globes tradition, having little to do with who’s actually going to win.
