Haute Event: An Afternoon at the Wanderlust Festival at The Standard, Miami Beach
This past weekend brought Wanderlust to The Standard in Miami Beach. The yoga, music and wellness festival took place from Thursday, March 17 to Sunday, March 20. The event brought together some the nation’s most renown instructors, each teaching an array of yoga practices ranging from beginning, intermediate and advance levels.
Haute Event: Spiegel Swim + Travel Launch Party with Giuliana Rancic, Kelly Bensimon, and Karina Smirnoff
Spiegel kicked off the bikini season at the Gansevoort’s Rooftop Lounge on Sunday, March 13. E!’s Giuliana Rancic walked the red carpet alongside The Real Housewives of New York’s Kelly Bensimon and Dancing With the Star’s Karina Smirnoff.

Rocco’s Tacos & Tequila Bar held the grand opening of their new Broward location on Friday, February 18. The new location sits on the busy Las Olas Boulevard and featured a private VIP reception from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Haute Event: Miguel Paredes’ Art Gallery Grand Opening Reception
On Saturday, Feb. 12, Miguel Paredes celebrated the opening of his new gallery during Wynwood’s 2nd Saturdays Art Walk. The gallery’s opening was an enormous success, packed with art enthusiasts, VIPs, and invited guests. The night featured complimentary cocktails and drinks via Bombay Sapphire, Appleton Rum, Bacardi, and Heineken. Guests also enjoyed complimentary hor d’oeuvres provided by Vinyl & Kai, Miss Yip, the National Hotel Miami Beach, Kind Healthy Snacks, and Sweet Street desserts. Energetic lounge beats filled the bustling room thanks to DJ Sam Popat and DJ Ari X. Meanwhile, VIP guests enjoyed a private roped-off area with seating and exclusive bar service. Noted guests included Antonio Marion, Jeff Vaughan, Nolan Carroll of the Miami Dolphins, and Chandler Williams of the Kansas City Chiefs.
Gold Saturn Presents Spring Collection at the Delano Hotel South Beach
On Tuesday, January 25, Miami-based designer David Jon Acosta presented Gold Saturn’s Spring 2011 collection, the Road Trip, at the Delano Hotel in South Beach. Prior to presentation, Gold Saturn hosted an invite-only style lounge for Miami’s industry elite. The event allowed Miami movers and shakers to exclusively preview the new collection.
