Haute Event: Area 31 Launches Havana Nights Party on Friday, May 27
Miami carries an allure of Caribbean romance and energy and its culturally diverse flavors and Latin influences undoubtedly make its ambiance unique. Starting Friday, May 27, Area 31 will produce a monthly Havana Nights party to capture the essence of Latin food and flair.
Starting at 6 p.m., the Havana Nights summer soiree will feature complimentary Camacho Cigars and half-priced Atlantico Rum cocktails. Resident DJ Kristian Caro will spin a variety of Latin rhythms, including salsa, bolero and rumba.
Havana Nights will also extend Area 31’s existing happy hour until 10 p.m. Drink specials include handcrafted signature cocktails while Executive Chef E. Michael Reidt has created a bar-bites menu to embody the spirit of the evening. Menu items include savory dishes like the Chorizo Potato Croquettes (tomato jam, plantain & lemon confit) and the Rock Shrimp Ceviche (pepitas, coconut & cilantro.)
The Havana Nights party will take place through September from 6 p.m. – midnight every last Friday of the month. Area 31 is located on the 16th floor of the Epic Hotel in downtown Miami. The terrace is causally chic and provides stunning views of the Miami River and the Miami skyline.
