Elizabeth Taylor’s Jewelery Up For Auction

The auction tour of the late Elizabeth Taylor’s jewels will go through September and include stops in Moscow, London, Dubai, Geneva, Paris, Hong Kong and Los Angeles. It will end in New York, where an exhibition of the late actress’ collection will fill Christie’s entire gallery space from Dec. 3 to Dec. 10. That auction will be held over four days on Dec. 13-16.

$10 Million Diamond Watch Debuts at HK Timepiece Event

A glittering diamond watch from Switzerland worth $10 million made its debut Wednesday at the Hong Kong Watch and Clock Fair, known as the world’s largest watch-and-clock trade event.

The watch, featuring 186 diamonds and weighing in at 160 carats, was presented by Swiss’s top brand, Vacheron Constantin, from its latest creation in the Kallista series which was first introduced in 1979.

The Helmut Lang brand was once one of the most popular in world, featuring luxury fabrics and minimalist cuts. Link Theory relaunched the brand in 2007, and now it is under the design and direction of Michael and Nicole Colovos. The move has re-energized the brand and brought it back to prominence. The Helmut Lang label is now in luxury department stores and Helmut Lang boutiques around the world.
