On May 5th, designer Stella McCartney has kicked off her charitable work by donating a signed sketch to an art auction, but not just for any charity. According to femalefirst.co.uk, this fundraising event will display several works of art from phenomenal painters, Damien Hirst, David Hockney, Gavin Turk, along with 22 other artists.

On May 8, 2012 at 6:30 pm, the Exploratorium located at 3601 Lyon St. will kick off its evening with the 35th Annual Awards Dinner to honor several individuals that have inspired many for some time now. On Saturday Evening, Singer Pink and husband Carey Hart came out to a charity art sale of celebrity artist Erik Wahl to help support Linda’s Voice in Brentwood. Within three minutes Erik Wahl blew away all supporters with a portrait painting of Marilyn Monroe, including singer Pink, who offered the highest bid for the $10,000 painting.
