Spago Reopens This Fall with All New Menu and Look
As of July 9th, Spago will be closing its doors for a complete revamp from top to bottom, starting with its menu and design. As the restaurant approaches its 30th anniversary, the owner felt need to keep the restaurant up to date, so a remodel was indeed, necessary.
Tribal Café Now Open in Silver Lake
Its official, Tribal Café has just opened its second location at 3253 Beverly Blvd in Silver Lake. As of Saturday, the location opened serving guests breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a mouth-watering menu of veggie friendly entrees from vegan sandwiches, vegetarian salads to meat and fish full of proteins, all ranging from $5 to $8.

Mar Vista Welcomes Mitsuwa’s Hannosuke Tempura
The food court of Mar Vista’s Mitsuwa Marketplace has been known for its Santouka Ramen, but as of June 11, the vendor space will get a lot more interesting with the addition of Hannosuke. This vendor is a tempura specialist that started out in Chuo, Tokyo. The mouth-watering tempura spot will mainly specialize only on one item: tempura donburi or tendon. This unique dish features rice, covered with mixed seafood and veggie tempura.
