Tomorrow marks the birthday of one of the most beautifully seductive movie starlets of all time, Marilyn Monroe.  June 1st, the blonde beauty would have celebrated her 86th birthday, but sadly died in August of 1962, marking her 50th anniversary as of this year, so the Chinese Theatre , along with Playboy thought that it would befitting to have a seven-day Marilyn Monroe film festival, which will showcase seven of Monroe’s best featured films. The festival will start off on June 1st with “Some Like it Hot,” followed by 6 other films through June 7th. The fun-filled night will begin at 5 pm with a Marilyn Monroe look-alike contest, but that’s not all, the very first 200 Marilyns get free admission. The movie will show at 8pm, followed by an after-party at Hemingway’s, that will sure to knock your socks off. Each film cost $5 for admission, but for opening night $10, or an optional festival pass for $30 and for each festival pass purchased, 10% will be donated to Hollygrove, Monroe’s orphanage.
