Since longtime home owner Monte Factor, an art collector, philanthropist and haberdasher of the stars passed away at age 94, this past December, the lovely hacienda that he once lived in has been listed at $4.35 million. In 1929, this property was built by John Winford Byers, a high school teacher and Santa Monica architect right next to the Gibbons-Del Rio estate located conveniently on Kingman Ave.

From June 23 through October 7, music lovers will have the opportunity to view almost two hundred images of legendary icons of music at Who Shot Rock & Roll, a new exhibition that inspired by photography and music dated back to 1955. After being in business for 26 years, it’s hard to believe that luxury Hotel Seiyo Ginza is closing its doors next year. According to the hotels’ parent firm, Tokyo Theatres Co., the luxury hotel will indeed close doors. By the end of May 2013, they will close the hotel and has come to a decision to sell the Ginza Theatre Building. HSG, an affiliate of Tokyo Theatres Co. runs the hotel.

The Flagler Center in downtown West Palm Beach has just completed its first $2million renovation that featured two towers of the Center. One spacious, 90,000-square-foot, six-story tower on 501 N. Flagler Drive and another 150story building on 505 N. Flagler Drive that sprawled all of 155,000-square-ft. Both of the Center’s two towers were built back in 1975 and 1980.

There’s been talk for some time now, about Joe Bastianich and Mario Batali possibly opening an Eataly right here in Los Angeles. For those who are not so familiar with one of the best Italian superstores in New York, Eataly is an Italian super-deli/food court which the very best in Italian cuisine.

As of early July at the very latest, the 7,000 square foot restaurant that the Watermarke Tower Downtown has been waiting for, for some time now, has revealed its opening team. The New American restaurant known as Towne Food & Drink is getting set to open its doors with a full team that includes: the owner Armen Shirvanian from Mi Piace in Pasadena, Chefs Eric Hara and Ryan Morrison, beverage director Jason Bran of the Roger Room, pastry chef Tamara Davis of Aquavit – NYC, Boule, and Bottega Louie, and last but not least the designer of the restaurant, Mark Zeff.

On April 28th, New York City officially opened their first Bottega Veneta men’s store at 23 East 67th Street, with great pleasure after opening a store in China. This property is so very spacious with 1,661 square foot, ideal for a showroom to feature tailored clothing, shoes, furnishings, luggage, sportswear and of course, leather goods for men.
