Haute Event: Elle Decor Showhouse Opens in San Francisco
On Nov. 4, Elle Décor magazine launched its first-ever Elle Décor Showhouse with an invitation-only gala. A collaborative effort of designers worked to renovate this 1911 historic 5,000-square-foot (four bedrooms, six baths) home in the St. Francis Wood neighborhood. Designers who worked on the Elle Décor Showhouse include Grant K. Gibson, Jay Jeffers, Elizabeth Martin, Erin Martin, Gary Spain, Surfacedesign Inc., Suzanne Tucker, Steven Volpe, Palmer Weiss, Will Wick and Kendall Wilkinson.

Haute 100 Miami Update: Craig Robins

Haute 100 Miami Update: Helio Castroneves
Castroneves, who is known as one of the greatest stars in the motorsport realm, recently made an appearance on one of the most popular shows on prime-time television. Castroneves appeared on “Dancing with the Stars” as a celebrity judge on the 200th episode of the ABC show. Castroneves, along with his dance partner Julianne Hough, won the Season 5 competition on November 27, 2007. Their performance of the Quickstep received a perfect score from the three-judge panel. In fact, the dance was voted one of the most favorite by viewers.
Haute 100 New York Update: Oscar and Annette de la Renta
Oscar de la Renta just made a sweet deal when he purchased a $2.4 million condo in the SoHo Mews for his son Moises de la Renta. The stunning condo was designed by Gwathmey Siegel and Associate Architects and includes two buildings connected by a landscaped courtyard called “the secret garden.”
Haute 100 San Francisco Update: John Morgridge
Most people leave college and never look back. But a few graduates, like John Morgridge and his wife Tashia, honor their university with a donation. The Morgridges, both alumni of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, gifted the university $34 million for the remodeling of the Education Building on Bascom hill.
Haute 100 Los Angeles Update: David Pyott
Now you can take Botox for your chronic migraines, and not just to mask the headache’s stress wrinkles. Last month the drug was approved for the treatment of chronic migraine headaches, meaning those who suffer at least 15 headache days per month. David Pyott’s pharmaceutical company, Allergan Inc., is not hesitating on the opportunity to market this new use of Botox.
