The Floral Art Home studio, founded by Jennifer McGarigle in 1993, aims to bring the radiance and enchantment of freshly picked flowers to the inside of your beautiful home. Celebrities such as Katie Holmes, Tom Cruise, Matthew McConaughey, Ryan Seacrest, Diane Keaton and Kevin Connolly have purchased some of their rich and elegant room decor.

On Saturday, Feb. 19 at 7 p.m., Haute 100 member, local culinary legend, and nationally renowned Chef Michael Schwartz will be hosting a potluck dinner and book signing that truly embraces his signature local loyalty. The innovative James Beard Award-winning chef has compiled the best of his local-style, ingredient-driven culinary mastery into his debut cookbook, MICHAEL’S GENUINE FOOD: Down-to-Earth Cooking for People Who Love to Eat.

On Feb. 14, acclaimed designer Pamella Roland delivered her signature luxurious style on the runway at The Studio at Lincoln Center. For Fall 2011, Roland drew inspiration from her travels to the Far East, reflecting Roland’s love for travel, luxury, and quality. On Saturday, Feb. 19, Executive Chef James Rogers of Acqualina Resort &a Spa, Miami Beach’s only AAA Five Diamond Hotel, will be hosting an intimate wine pairing dinner experience at the resort’s Aaria Bar & Lounge. Chef Rogers has spent eight years perfecting his culinary artistry and joined Acqualina in 2010 after being warmly received at Casa de Campo Resort in the Dominican Republic, the Four Seasons Resort in Costa Rica, and Miami’s own Delano Hotel.

It is only February and I for one am already excited for next fall after seeing the debut of Cynthia Steffe’s Fall 2011 collection. The fashion show took place on Sunday, February 13th at the Studio in Lincoln Center and once again Creative Director Shaun Kearney collaborated with Via Spiga for footwear following the success of their similar partnership for the line’s Spring 2011 show. The result is the Via Spiga Ethos shoe which was featured prominently during the fashion show and is an “edgy and fashionable shoe bootic on a chic platform.”
