Call the movers, schedule the mail forwarding, or deal with your collection of art and antiques (how do you handle those?)
For some discerning clientele, this is a situation, not your average situation–but definitely a bind. So was the situation of Julianna Terian and Pamela Muller, founders of moving specialist company, Nouvelle View.

Haute Dining: NoHo Flashes Back to the 1920s: The Federal Bar Is Now Officially Open

Cue The Federal Bar, LA’s newest gastropub bringing us back to the times of the Prohibition era and speakeasy style. Originally a 1926 bank, the space was later turned into a club called Bank Heist, which was destroyed in 2008 by a fire. Today, it’s the brainchild of Knitting Factory Entertainment CEO, Morgan Margolis. “This project is very personal to me and has been on my mind for over 20 years,” said Margolis. “The building has an amazing historic significance, but we want the atmosphere comfortable enough, so you’ll kick back, have a pint, a great meal and watch a tremendous show or a ball game.”

Haute Dining: One Girl, 12 Haute Dishes: Patricia’s of Morris Park

Lots of things come in twelve’s—days of Christmas, drummers drumming, nights (according to Shakespeare,) then there are the regulars: eggs, donuts, and bagels. What would you say to a dozen courses? Such was the case at Patricia’s of Morris Park, where I was obligated—forced even, to endure twelve dishes prepared especially for yours truly—a chef’s tasting if you will.
