Oh Baby: Catimini Now Open at South Coast Plaza
If you’re feeling alack of stylish shops when you’re shopping for your tot, then your search is over. South Coast Plaza has a SoCal exclusive direct from Europe and it’ll have you wishing Peter Pan-style that you never grew up. The clothes at Catimini are so cute you might be a little jealous of your kids’ closets.
Created in 1972 by Monique and Paul Salmon, the French brand has been dressing cool kids and in prints and poppy colors every since. The store at South Coast Plaza carries the line’s entire ranges for boys, girls and even infants and toddlers. Known for fresh pints, you’ll see everything from floral to stripes all mixed together in ways you never would have thought possible. Chic and clean, nothing’s too frilly or too fancy – it’s a kids’ store, after all. In addition to clothes, the boutique will carry accessories like sunglasses, shoes and more (the brand also has a line of linens and even wallpaper), making this a store you can use for every occasion, whether you need a new party outfit for your stylish spawn or you want to revamp your kids’ room.
Bright and fun, the store at South Coast Plaza is a celebration of childhood, fantasy and whimsy. Located just steps from the center’s famed carousel and other children’s boutiques, it sets itself apart with a distinctly European feel and clothes you won’t be able to find anywhere else.
Catimini is located at 3333 Bristol St. at South Coast Plaza, Costa Mesa. 714.641.1634
