Inside Luxury Travel Features the Halekulani Hotel

Haleukulani Hotel

Halekulani Hotel and Hawaii are gaining worldwide acclaim on “Inside Luxury Travel.” It’s no surprise. The service is incredible, the landscape beautiful and attention to detail impeccable. Albeit in the midst of bustling Waikiki, the first-class resort is like a serene and tranquil paradise. In Hawaiian, Halekulani means “House Benefiting Heaven,” and it truly is heaven on earth. It’s an interesting concept since the resort is located in Honolulu, which is often referred to as the cluttered urban capital of the Aloha State, but the resort has this magical ability to make you feel like you’re relaxing in a more remote part of the isle.

Widely considered as a cut above the rest, Halekulani is the crème de la crème. And, has earned many awards and accolades to solidify this truth. Yet again the property will win raves as it was recently filmed by popular international travel show, “Inside Luxury Travel.” Known for filming some of the most glamorous destinations in the world, “Inside Luxury Travelfocuses on the very best of hotels, resorts and luxury travel experiences offered around the globe. Hawaii and the Halekulani are in great company as Melbourne, Quebec, Istanbul, Prague, Edinburgh and Abu Dhabi are just a few of the bunch that will be featured next season.

Each hour-long episode focuses on two upscale hotels as well as cultural activities and events around the featured city and state. Host  Varun Sharma’s show is available to 1.4 billion homes in 160 countries across the world through CNBC, the Travel Channel and the Wealth Channel in the United States. “Inside Luxury Travel” also has a well-respected presence across Europe, Asia, Africa, New Zealand, Australia and the Middle East. The show is even broadcast on more than 10 major airlines and viewed by approximately 1.5 million passengers per month.

“We’re honored to be one of the luxury components featured on Inside Luxury Travel. We believe and strive to embody the best in hospitality service and are excited to show Mr. Sharma why the Halekulani is truly a “house benefiting heaven,” says Peter Shaindlin, chief operating officer of Halekulani Corp.

Hawaii has always been considered a premier travel destination more so with the presence of such esteemed hotels as the Halekulani. “We are pleased that ‘Inside Luxury Travel’ will be featuring Hawaii as a destination must for the luxury seeking travel set,” says Mike McCartney, president and chief executive officer of the Hawaii Tourism Authority.

Expected to air in February/March 2011, keep your eyes peeled for a glance at Hawaii and the haute Halekulani Hotel on “Inside Luxury Travel.”
