On Thursday, Sept. 16, Rado Watches and Vanity Fair held the Unlimited Spirit Awards, which honored those who have challenged “definitions and boundaries through their art, work and philanthropic initiatives.” The award ceremony took place at The McKinley House in Venice Beach, Calif., and honored three specific individuals: actress and activist Maria Bello, architect and environmentalist David Hertz and writer/producer Paul Haggis.

Rado is known for their unique and groundbreaking timepieces, like their 100 percent scratch-resistant watch that features metalized sapphire crystals, high-tech ceramic materials and crushed, natural diamonds. Rado hopes to inspire and encourage young artists and innovators to push beyond artistic boundaries just like they do, and for these up-and-comers to make their own contributions to the world of design.

Other attendees of the event included Kim Raver, Maggie Grace, Camryn Manheim, Kristin Bauer, Abigail Spencer, Matt Lanter, Tim Kang, Rick Yune and Brad Hall.

Rado also recently debuted its most recent print campaign in the October issue of Vanity Fair. It features a custom section that was created by Vanity Fair’s in-house creative team. You can find behind-the-scenes video from this photo shoot (including interviews and never-before-seen images) exclusively online at www.rado.com and www.vanityfairagenda.com/rado.
