Inside Chanel’s New Los Cabos Boutique With a Stunning Pacific View From the Terrace
Chanel's new 170-square-meter boutique at Ánima Village pairs travertine and Mexican craftsmanship with fashion, fine jewelry, watches and a terrace bar facing the Pacific.
Chanel has staked out the tip of Baja California Sur. On October 27, the house opened the Chanel Los Cabos boutique at Ánima Village in Cabo del Sol — a 170-square-meter shop with a 200-square-meter terrace that looks out over the Pacific Ocean.

The pitch is a refuge “between the desert and the sea,” and the boutique is built to match. It carries fashion, watches and fine jewelry in one of the world’s most exclusive beach destinations, framed as an open space rather than a closed jewel box. It reads less like a mall store and more like a beach house.
Chanel opened its Chanel Los Cabos boutique on October 27, 2026 at Ánima Village, Cabo del Sol (Carretera Transpeninsular KM 10.3, Cabo San Lucas), a 170-square-meter single salon in travertine with a 200-square-meter Pacific-view terrace bar, carrying ready-to-wear, shoes, bags, custom jewelry, eyewear, fine jewelry and watches, open daily 11 a.m.–9 p.m.
Everything happens in a single salon. Travertine marble runs throughout, and the walls, floors and ceilings were finished by Mexican artisans — a deliberate nod to local craft and materials. Armchairs and chairs are upholstered in tweed, of course, while rugs soften the fitting rooms and the shoe area.
The plan is easy to read. Bags line the right side of the room, with custom jewelry facing them on the opposite wall. Leather goods and more bags hold the center alongside ready-to-wear and shoes, so the categories run into one another rather than sitting in separate rooms.

Ready-to-wear and shoes wrap the left side and circle the center, opening with Matthieu Blazy’s Fall-Winter 2026 collection. It plays the natural against the artificial, in iridescent, Impressionist-leaning colors, with the Chanel suit treated as a blank canvas and reworked in everything from ribbed knits to intricately woven tweed.
To the right of the entrance sits a dedicated watches and fine jewelry salon, stocked with the COCO CRUSH, N°5 and CAMÉLIA fine jewelry collections plus J12 and PREMIÈRE watches. By the door, a small eyewear corner offers Chanel sunglasses — arguably the most practical purchase in a town built around the sun.

The real draw, though, is outside. The terrace opens directly off the boutique and is designed around a central bar, extending the interior into the open air with an uninterrupted view of the Pacific. At 200 square meters, it is larger than the shop itself, which tells you how Chanel expects clients to spend their time here.
For Cabo’s resort crowd, it puts the full Chanel wardrobe — not just a vitrine of accessories — within reach of the beach. Expect the terrace to fill with clients lingering over the new season between swims and sunset dinners.
The Chanel Los Cabos boutique is located at Ánima Village, Cabo del Sol, Carretera Transpeninsular KM 10.3, 23455 Cabo San Lucas, B.C.S., México. Open Monday through Sunday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
