New York’s Most Stylish Hotel Is Opening Its First-Ever Spa. You Probably Already Have Its Secret Weapon in Your Bathroom
The Mark opens its first spa this November with Augustinus Bader: TFC8 facials, microcurrent, LED and longevity tech on the Upper East Side.
The Mark already has Jean-Georges handling dinner, Caviar Kaspia supplying the baked potatoes, and Frédéric Fekkai taking care of your hair. This November, Augustinus Bader joins the Upper East Side address with The Mark Wellness & Longevity Spa by Augustinus Bader, a three-room sanctuary open to guests and New Yorkers alike, and a new reason to check in (or make an appointment).
It will mark two firsts: the hotel’s first spa and the skincare brand’s first dedicated hotel spa in the United States. For anyone whose bathroom shelf already features one of Bader’s signature blue bottles, consider this the next step.

With just three treatment rooms, the spa takes an intimate approach. The menu will pair Augustinus Bader’s signature facials with a curated selection of wellness experiences, bringing the brand’s science-led approach to skincare into a setting where personalized service is already part of the appeal. Both hotel guests and New Yorkers will be able to book treatments.
At the center of the facial protocols is TFC8®, the proprietary technology developed from Professor Augustinus Bader’s more than 35 years of research into cellular communication and the body’s regenerative processes. It is also the technology behind the products that helped turn The Cream and The Rich Cream into beauty fixtures after the brand’s 2018 launch.
Here, those formulas will have some high-tech company. The treatment lineup incorporates precision nano-channeling, microcurrent, Biosonix ultrasound, full-spectrum LED, and ionized oxygen therapy, with protocols tailored to individual skin needs. The broader wellness offering will also introduce technologies studied for their potential effects on selected health biomarkers, although the full menu has yet to be announced.

The addition makes sense for a hotel that has steadily expanded the ways guests can look and feel their best without leaving the building.
There is already a 24-hour Technogym fitness center, an in-house personal trainer, and in-room massage service. Upstairs, guests of the penthouse have access to a private Technogym gym and an outdoor cold plunge—a particularly compelling way to wake up above Manhattan.
The spa’s arrival also follows a meticulous restoration of The Mark’s guest rooms and suites, preserving Jacques Grange’s distinctive mix of French style and American comfort. His interiors remain central to the hotel’s personality: polished, playful, and confident enough to make a black-and-white striped floor feel like a signature.
Now, that same address is making room for a more considered kind of appointment. Come for the facial, stay for lunch at Jean-Georges, and leave time for a blowout at Fekkai. At The Mark, taking care of yourself could comfortably become an all-day affair.
