Daniel’s Miami Hosted an Exclusive LVMH Champagne & Caviar Dinner
Daniel's Miami hosted an LVMH Champagne and Caviar Dinner featuring Petrossian, Krug, Dom Pérignon, and Château d'Yquem.
The Coral Gables steakhouse that has quietly become one of South Florida’s most serious wine destinations did it again. On Thursday, October 1, Daniel’s Miami hosted an exclusive LVMH Prestige Champagne and Caviar Dinner, bringing together Petrossian Caviar and an exceptional selection of Champagne, wine, and spirits for an intimate evening of elevated dining and European-style hospitality.
Gioia Hospitality Group Co-Founder Thomas Angelo and Wine and Beverage Director Daniel Bishop welcomed guests with opening remarks, setting the tone for an evening built around the kind of pairing that makes a dinner feel like an occasion rather than a meal.

The evening opened with a Petrossian Caviar Service featuring Ossetra and Tsar Imperial Ossetra, followed by a Hiramatsu A5 Wagyu amuse-bouche that announced the kitchen’s intentions for everything that followed. The multi-course progression moved through a Hokkaido Scallop with clam velouté and Petrossian caviar, Pear and Ricotta Tortellini with brown butter and sage, and a 6 oz Australian Cobungra Station Wagyu Filet with Sauce Foyot and caviar potato pavé. A Warm Apple Tarte Tatin with crème fraîche and caramel sauce closed the meal.

The beverage program across the evening was as considered as the menu it accompanied. Guests moved through Krug 2013, Krug Grande Cuvée 172ème Édition, and Dom Pérignon Plénitude 2 2008 before transitioning to Le Petit Cheval 2021, Joseph Phelps Insignia 2019, and Château d’Yquem 2007. Hennessy X.O. concluded the evening. For a room of serious wine drinkers, it was the kind of lineup that earns a dinner its reputation before anyone has taken a seat.

The October 1 dinner is the latest entry in a wine program that has been building Daniel’s Miami’s reputation as a destination for South Florida’s wine community since the restaurant opened. Under Wine and Beverage Director Daniel Bishop, the ongoing series of wine dinners has brought guests into the same room as bottles from Vega Sicilia, Gaja, Quintessa, Rombauer, and Cheval Blanc alongside thoughtfully paired menus. The LVMH collaboration, which brought Petrossian Caviar and the maison’s most celebrated Champagne and spirits houses to Coral Gables, is the most ambitious of the series to date and a signal of where the program is headed.
