Countdown to the 2010 Emmys: Cyndi Lauper to Perform at 1st Official Post Event Bash

Los Angeles, CA – August 17, 2010 – ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT, the # 1 entertainment newsmagazine in the world, has announced that multi-Grammy Award-winning artist Cyndi Lauper will headline the 14th annual ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT Emmy Party.
As I mentioned yesterday, the fancy soiree will be held at the downtown hot spot, Vibiana. Lauper’s performance follows in the tradition of spectacular headline acts which have included performances by Prince, Mary J. Blige, Duran Duran, Billy Idol, and Earth, Wind and Fire.
“Cyndi Lauper is timeless,” says Linda Bell Blue, Executive producer for ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT and THE INSIDER. “She’s a fantastic and exciting performer. Our guests are in for a surprise, because you don’t know what to expect with Cyndi!” Cyndi Lauper adds, “The ET party is supposed to be off the hook! And since I’m doing it, were going to have some fun.”
Personally I can’t wait to see the likes of Jon Hamm, Alec Baldwin, and Sophia Vergara getting down to Lauper’s “She Bop.”
