Hugh Grant is Selling Liz For Big Bucks!
No, don’t get it twisted! The Liz in question is not British actress Elizabeth Hurley, one of Grant’s ex-flames, but Elizabeth Taylor.
Six years ago, Hugh grant bought Andy Warhol’s prized portrait of the Elizabeth Taylor for 3.5 million at Sotheby’s New York. Created in 1963, the turquoise Liz will be auctioned off at Christie’s contemporary art sale in New York on November 13.
A painting that avid art connoisseurs are eager to acquire, Grant is expected to make between $25 to $35 million on his $3.5 million investment.
