The Chloé Spring/Summer 2025 Collection Reflects An Eternal State Of Optimism

After making headlines last season for her evokingly powerful and pivotal debut collection for Chloé, Creative Director Chemena Kamali is resounding that same sentiment with the new Chloé Spring/Summer 2025 collection, The Freedom Collection. Continuing to pull forward the brand’s original values and ethos of her iconic preceders like Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney, and Phoebe Philo, Kamali is proving consistency is key; remaining true to the brand’s roots while fusing a sense of contemporary innovation that resonates and grows with its wearer. The Freedom Collection embodies the brand’s signature sense of femininity, light, and joy while channeling a liberating sense of freedom, spontaneity, and optimism reminiscent of the emotion that summer brings.

“Chloé is not a passing moment; it is an eternal state of mind guided by instinct and optimism. Weightless and ever-flowing, the Spring/Summer 2025 collection showcases a delicate array of ethereal fabrics that arrive sun-faded, rinsed, and worn in. Lace guipures with ribbed cotton jersey, billowy silk charmeuses, and Habotai silks float and fly with a sense of ease. The color palette matches that of the fabrics with a faded by-the-sun element shown through apricot, shell white, blush, sand, pale yellow, faded lime and mint, dusk blue, and lavender. Standout pieces showcase a blooming print of roses and peonies reworked from an original hand-painted artwork from 1977.

A stunning juxtaposition, lingerie drifts through the collection mixed with soft summer sartorial tailoring; “Pieces that feel lost and found,” said Kamali. A new jacket silhouette is a focal point of the collection based on a flou blouse with gathers, pleated sleeves and a structured shoulder in cotton and suede. Chloé’s iconic 70s bloomers made a coveted return with a sense of playfulness, while a cotton ribbed henley edged in lace complements the collection with a delicate simplicity. And in classic Chloé fashion, the accessories were nothing short of whimsical and treasured, many adorned with a medley of broken shells, sea-washed stones, summer charms, and chains. Airy crocheted and Rafia bracelet bags are a charming and innovative addition to the looks, while the summer Maxime platform, jelly shoes, and a laced ballet flat served as the quintessential finishing touch to the Chloé Spring/Summer 2025 Collection.
