Alaïa Winter Spring 2027 Turns Dialogue Into Body Language at Paris Fashion Week
Alaïa Winter Spring 2027, shown October 3, 2026, at Paris Fashion Week, is a studio-led collection of jersey, draped satin and leather.
Without a newly appointed creative director taking a final bow, Alaïa still filled the room. On October 3, 2026, during Paris Fashion Week, the Maison presented Alaïa Winter Spring 2027 at the former Fondation Cartier on Boulevard Raspail, a studio-led return that trusted house codes over succession theater.

Show notes frame the season as a set of exchanges. “Alaïa dialogues,” they begin, exploring “conversations with women, discourse with craft, memories of history, shared experience.” Models moved through a standing crowd beside curved screens by filmmaker Julian Klincewicz, mixing recorded and live imagery.
That scenography is not decoration. Notes say “the curved screens of the scenography echo feminine curves,” and the clothes answer in kind, amplifying the figure with jersey that twists close, leather that pleats, and draperies that gather at the hips before releasing the leg.

Tailoring stays sharp and familiar. A cropped black double-button blazer sits over slim trousers and pointed pumps, the Spencer line tightened into a modern crop. Nearby, white textured jackets and skirts dense with black beads move like armor that still walks with ease.
Color arrives as temperature more than print. Doutzen Kroes appears in vertically pleated silver and burgundy with a cream waistband and white pumps. Elsewhere, a sheer black turtleneck meets a burgundy leather asymmetrical pleated skirt, a small black bag cutting a hard line against soft motion.

Softness carries equal weight. An olive satin high-neck dress gathers dramatically at the hips, gold earrings catching light as black pumps keep the step clean. Notes place “softness and draperies,” “jersey twisted,” and “leather and knitted pleats” at the center of a craft conversation.

Time is the quiet motif. The Maison invokes the lemniscate of infinity, a figure of eight without beginning or end, as garments wrap and reveal. Dialogue with Azzedine and with the Maison surfaces as continuum, foundational seams and silhouettes kept almost invisible yet present.
Beauty credits match the seriousness of the clothes. Pat McGrath handles make-up, Anthony Turner hair, Elsa Deslandes nails, with musical score by Asma Maroof, vocal by Zsela, movement direction by Emma Chadwick, and concept and art direction by Lina Kutsovskaya.
The season does not audition a new author so much as prove the atelier can still hold the house line after change. For more of Haute Living’s Paris Fashion Week coverage, see Loewe Spring Summer 2027 and Balenciaga Summer 2027.
