Loewe Spring Summer 2027 Finds Its Footing in New England Ease & Spanish Drama
Loewe Spring Summer 2027: McCollough and Hernandez’s third show, October 2, 2026, at Château de Vincennes in Paris.
Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez have stopped trying to out-shout Loewe’s recent past. On October 2, 2026, at Paris Fashion Week, the co-creative directors presented the Loewe Spring Summer 2027 collection, their third for the house, inside a two-tiered circular arena built in the courtyard of the Château de Vincennes.

“What we’re putting forward here is a proposition for dressing. How does this new LOEWE language become a wardrobe?” ask the designers in their show notes. Their answer leans on two geographies: the coastal New England ease of their youth, and the drama, ritual and history of Spain, filtered through 180 years of house codes.
The set, designed with Casper Mueller Kneer Architects in white scaffold and sheer fabric, drew on circular spaces from the Anatomical Theatre in Padua to La Scala in Milan. Zigzagging benches and an upper balcony kept guests close to the runway, which suited a collection built around proximity.
The opening stated the thesis plainly. A pale plaid blazer over a navy zip knit sat above a white skirt gathered into a sculptural drape at the hip, then returned with an ochre skirt; behind them came a black leather bomber with gray trousers and a white minidress. Familiar pieces, bent just enough.

American pragmatism carries the collection. The notes describe polos cut backwards on the body, as if pulled off and hastily redressed in the heat, alongside anoraks rendered in silk and softened boat shoes with contrasting laces. A sunshine yellow jacket with cobalt panels over gray trousers read as pure campus Americana.
Spain arrives as temperament rather than costume. A black slip dress folds open at the neckline into cobalt-edged floral panels, satin floral scarves flare from taleguilla-style pants, and painterly sashes wrap the waist, at times cinched with bungee cord. The new Pasito bag drapes a supple nappa dustbag over a classic box construction.

The craft is quieter this season, and better for it. Striped jackets and shirt dresses come in skived leather shaved to summer weight, while sheer dresses woven with translucent glass beads are wrapped and tucked like a beach towel. A gauzy coral and sand striped slip is the dress to want.
The basketball jersey reference is the cleverest idea here. The notes call for a chiffon, bead-fringed slip dress cut like a jersey, and the runway delivered it in color bleeds, sunshine yellow melting into tangerine with fringed trim at every edge. Sun-bleached neons and sun-faded suede kept the palette warm.

Heritage enters lightly. The house’s first garment, an Oro suede blazer from 1960, is reimagined, silk ties carry archival motifs from Spanish painting, and the Puzzle bag evolves into the featherlight East-West Puzzle Charm. Heels arrive with paper-thin satin bows, and near the close an emerald shift came crowded with red and blue florals.
This is the collection where McCollough and Hernandez stopped auditioning. After two seasons of maximal demonstration, they trusted the clothes, and the result is the most wearable Loewe in years without losing the strangeness that makes the house matter. Relatability is a risky word in luxury; here it reads as confidence.

McCollough and Hernandez have finally stopped auditioning at Loewe. Trading spectacle for a wardrobe of skived leather, bead-fringed jersey dresses and Spanish flourishes, they have made the house’s most wearable collection in years without sanding off its strangeness. It is the clearest sign yet that their Loewe has a point of view of its own.
