Ford Models Celebrates Its 75th Anniversary During Miami Art Basel With Places.co

From celebrating some of the most famed artists in the world to hosting lavish extravaganzas, this year’s Miami Art Basel was a week to remember. On Thursday, to start the week off with a major bang, Ford Models hosted its 75th Anniversary Gala alongside renowned artist Romero Britto and luxury brand Places.co.

For the ultimate Art Basel soiree, the celebration took place at the vibrant Britto Palace, Britto’s 60,00 square-foot headquarters located in the heart of Miami, where his archived art pieces live and a place he often hosts some of the most notable celebrities, designers, innovators, and art patrons.

Upon arrival, guests were greeted with premium cocktails before fully immersing themselves in the wonderful world of Britto, Ford Models, and Places.co — a relationship that further establishes the deep bond between art, fashion, and luxury. Ford Models CEO and Founder Decio Restelli Ribeiro and Kate Ford, the former CEO of Ford Models and daughter of Eileen Ford and Gerard William “Jerry” Ford, who started in the agency over 75 years ago, were in attendance amongst other notable guests like Jonathan Cheban (Foodgod), Haute Media Group CEO Kamal Hotchandani, and Dr. Lucas Vidal.

Throughout the evening, Ford models modeled bespoke pieces from Britto’s clothing line, and a special artwork by Britto was revealed, exclusively curated for Ford Models, and presented to Ribeiro and Ford. The evening was the epitome of Miami Art Basel, truly celebrating Ford Model’s ethos and toasting the many more years to come.
