The Rolex Central Park Horse Show Returns To Wollman Rink For The 4th Year
One of the biggest events of the city is back this autumn season. The Rolex Central Park Horse Show will be returning to Wollman Rink in Central Park from September 20th to the 24th.
Show jumping, dressage, puissance, hunters, and more will fill five days of original, exciting programming for the event, which will be in its fourth year in the city.
“27 million people ride a horse every year, which is more than the 23 million who play tennis, the 25 million who golf or the 8 million who ski each year,” says Mark Bellissimo, CEO of International Equestrian Group, LLC (IEG) and Founder of Rolex Central Park Horse Show. “We’re thrilled to be able to bring the equestrian sport and showcase these horses and Olympic-level athletes for our fourth consecutive year in the world’s greatest city. We also want to offer new audiences a chance to experience the beauty of the game and these horses, which is why we’re also partnering with local organizations whose missions are dedicated to providing opportunities and advancements to kids, NYC’s law enforcement and the equestrian sport.”
The event will support New York non profit organizations such as the Central Park Conservancy, City Parks Foundation, GallopNYC, Mini Horse Heroes, New York City Children’s Chorus, New York State Horse Council, NYC Parks Enforcement Mounted Auxiliary Unit, and the Police Athletic League.
The event is also bringing in some of the biggest equestrian competitors in the world, from Georgina Bloomberg to Kent Farrington, and McLain Ward. Tickets are now available for each day’s events, including the Grand Prix, and is available here.
